By accessing or using Gentle ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Gentle is a Google Analytics intelligence tool that allows you to query your analytics data using natural language. We provide insights, visualizations, and recommendations based on your Google Analytics and Google Search Console data.

3. Account Registration

  • You must have a valid Google account to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You may not share your account with others

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Google Data Access

By connecting your Google account, you:

  • Grant us read-only access to your Google Analytics data
  • Acknowledge that we access data through official Google APIs
  • Understand you can revoke access at any time through Google settings
  • Confirm you have authority to grant access to the connected properties

6. Subscription and Payments

  • Free tier includes limited queries per month
  • Paid plans are billed monthly or annually
  • Prices are subject to change with 30 days notice
  • Refunds are available within 14 days of purchase
  • You may cancel your subscription at any time

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Gentle and protected by intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your analytics data. We do not claim ownership of data accessed through your Google account.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. Insights and recommendations are provided for informational purposes and should not be the sole basis for business decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, GENTLE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Gentle from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason. You may terminate your account at any time through the settings page.

12. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Gentle operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
